December in Vienna
The Innere Stadt is the postcard: palaces, coffee houses and opera within a compact ring. Leopoldstadt across the canal is calmer, greener and better value, with quick U-Bahn access. Neubau and Mariahilf are where Vienna actually lives: museums, markets, small shops and a younger night out.
