May in Sydney
Circular Quay and The Rocks put the Opera House, the harbour bridge and the ferries in one walkable frame, and make the best first-trip base. Surry Hills and Darlinghurst are the local, food-led choice, with cafés, restaurants and bars a short walk from the centre. Bondi is for beach days and a slower pace, but it is 25–35 minutes from the centre and you will commute for everything else.
