October in Berlin
Mitte puts the headline sights within walking distance and suits a short first visit. Kreuzberg is the food-and-nightlife answer, grittier and more alive, with worse sleep on weekend nights. Charlottenburg is calmer and more polished: good for families, museums and a slower pace, at the cost of a longer ride east.
